Essentially, we fix buildings when they begin to fail. Experience in technical detailing, specification writing and coordination, expert standard of care legal consultation, site design and evaluation, and building science.

09 ◊ :: UC Berkeley Extension ◊ http://www.unex.berkeley.edu/ ◊ Instructor in a Post-Graduate Certificate curriculum in the Sustainable Design Professional Sequence. Specific course taught is titled “Practical Applications of Sustainable Design”, one of two required core classes in the program, which strives to teach the full range of green design and construction methods, materials, systems and philosophies.

Ecologically focused projects range from high-end custom remodels and additions to affordable housing in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity.

Courses taught include Perspective Drawing, Rendering and Presentation Skills, and Photoshop and Illustrator for Architects.

Led development of brainstorm strategy and creative direction for a team of designers, programmers and account managers. Integrated use of data-driven Flash into various sites and banner ad tracking applications, as well as internet gaming, product publicity and promotions.

Responsibilities included drafting details and presentation boards for competition and RFP submittal. Tasks also involved organizing custom design portfolios geared toward specific project requirements. Implemented new design layouts and web standards, as well as leading discussions on sustainable material choice and resource decisions within the firm.

Responsibilities primarially included upgrading current firm projects into CAD and tutoring principals on computer usage.

98 ◊ 99 :: CARE ◊ http://www.care.org ◊ Atlanta, GA - Responsible for complete design, documentation and construction of display and exhibit systems throughout the headquarters building of one of the largest humanitarian organizations in the World. This includes extensive re-design for the lobby, interior and exterior building displays, cabinetry, lighting modifications, signage, and photography exhibits.
